New Zealand (10/12) - Lyttelton Farmers Market

On the way from Akaroa to Christchurch, we stopped at the port town of Lyttelton. To be honest, there wasn't much to do here. But we managed to locate a farmers market to keep ourselves occupied.

Opens every Saturday from 10am to 1pm.

Wow, look at that purple asparagus! Beautiful, but surely it wasn't $14 a bunch?

Hi Celia - I know, ridiculous price reflects rarity. I've never seen purple asparagus until that day.
